The maximum period of stay in Russia on the basis of a tourist visa - 30 days. Multiple tourist visas do not exist.

Tourist voucher issued by the travel agency. 6. Confirmation of the foreign tourist's entrance - issued by a travel company ( valid reference number required):The voucher and the confirmation of foreign tourist service is a document issued (on one form) by a company with a valid registration number of the Ministry of the Russian Federation Tourism. While completing the visa application form, please provide the voucher number and the registration number of the company that issued it. The printed voucher scan should be submitted when applying for a visa at the consulate, visa agency or at the Russian visa centre.
The work visa is issued to the foreigner entering the Russian Federation in order to perform work on the basis of an invitation issued by the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation (FMS Russia). The next extension of the visa is made by the territorial government of the Federation of the Migration Service according to the place of registration in the migration register in the foreigner's place of residence. It means issuing a multiple-entry visa for the duration of the employment contract but not longer than 3 years for each next visa.

An exception is the FMS / Teleks invitation. WARNING! The total stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on the basis of a multiple-entry visa is determined while the visa is issued, but it can not be more than 90 days during a period of 180 days.
